Our commercial projects range from small tenant space renovations to multistory hotels. RDP Engineering’s design team uses the latest version of AUTO CAD to develop electrical design packages adhering into the latest code compliance to fit the project needs and requirements. Our typical drawing packages include Electrical Site plan, Power plans(s), Lighting Plan(s), Riser and One Line Diagrams, Installation Details (As Required), Interconnection Diagrams, Panel Schedules W/ Load Summary, Voltage Drop Calculations and Short Circuit Calculations. 

Our designs routinely encompass computer analysis for over-current device coordination and/or Arc Flash Studies. A specialty of RDP Engineering is the electrical design of convenience store/gas stations, many of which may incorporate fast food restaurants. Those designs require close attention to the codes surrounding fuel dispensing and local Florida codes requiring means for interconnecting to stand by generator systems. RDP Engineering has designed a multitude of new and existing remodeled tenant space build outs and has a background in designing whole retail strips. A large number of our projects include local startup companies.

We offer mechanical and plumbing design through close relations with several mechanical engineering firms for those clients that require MEP design packages. RDP Engineering will handle all coordination and will provide the client with complete MEP certified packages. We will also prepare comment response letters to address the municipalities responses as required.
